Responsibilities Relocation Available to Qualified candidates Plans, schedules, routes, and procures transportation services for inbound, outbound, and third-party domestic and international shipment of freight and data using knowledge of carriers, contracts, methods, prices, tariffs, special requirements, company policies, and government regulations. Collects and analyzes data from transportation feasibility studies on carriers, methods, routes, costs, schedules, and special requirements. Provides liaison information, instructions, and coordination on all international and domestic freight shipments with parts suppliers, company buyers, worldwide agents, customers, and government authorities, such as the U.S. Customs Service, Immigration and Naturalization Service, and Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, State, and Transportation. Develops programs to audit and monitor carrier rates and performance and transportation costs. Coordinates import and export of shipments through U.S. Customs; employee household-goods shipments; preparation of loss and damage claims, carrier overcharge claims, and supplier debits; freight invoice audit or management of third-party freight audit; and the certification and shipment of hazardous materials. Designs and conducts training to ensure that all pertinent company personnel are trained in company policy and government regulations concerning the traffic and transportation industry. Ensures compliance with all commercial and/or government contractual requirements for shipment of materials. Qualifications Qualifications and Experience: 3-5 years working with hazardous material shipping and handling requirements (IATA, IMDG and DOT) 3-5 years of experience in MS Office Suite and ERP system SAP 3-5 years experience with ITAR, Domestic, international import and export shipping requirements Good presentation skills and can communicate with all levels of management and disciplines Must have ability to do manual labor (must be able to stand extended periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and squat etc., while doing daily duties).
