Job Description:

Figment Design, a full-service marketing agency located in Miramar, Florida, is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to join our eclectic group of creative minds.

The Traffic Coordinator acts as a liaison between different areas in an organization or company. Individuals who excel at troubleshooting problems, managing schedules, and coordinating multiple activities at the same time are well suited for a position as a traffic coordinator. Most of these professionals have some undergraduate college education, though work experience can also prepare someone to enter this profession.

Job Description:

Traffic Coordinators can work in a variety of areas of business, such as advertising and marketing, while primarily in project coordination. The coordinator works with various departments and individuals in an organization to ensure materials and resources flow through the company in a timely manner. Traffic coordinators must have good planning skills and the ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays in the organization's workflow. Coordinators must communicate with individuals at various levels in the organization and may be required to prepare quotes, preliminary budgets, and progress reports.

Duties:

The Traffic Coordinator works with both clients and internal departments to develop a schedule for the delivery of products or resources. They monitor the flow of materials or resources through the process to ensure on time delivery. Coordinators troubleshoot problems to make sure a project or process remains on schedule. Traffic or coordinators develop work schedules in various departments to ensure work is completed on time. To confirm that a work process is progressing on schedule, coordinators monitor communication and work between departments.

  • Receive job requests, ensure all pertinent information is collected to process incoming orders in the Project Management System.
  • Prepare, schedule, and oversee job orders to make sure they are completed on time. (Trafficking)
  • Prepare media proposals, printing, design, and web quotes.
  • Coordinate media placement with publishers.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and submit them to the accounting department.
  • Proofreading and quality checks of final printed pieces before they are delivered or picked up by client.
  • Prepare shipping quotes and labels.
  • Run weekly reports of Retainer Clients hours billed to submit to the accounting department.
  • Provide support for accounting, creative, and web departments with miscellaneous tasks.
  • Procurement- Office supplies.
  • Participating in designated client calls and providing account management support, documenting actionable matters.
  • Creating jobs and tasks in PWF (project management system).
  • Coordination of travel arrangements for trade events.
  • Submitting purchase orders and coordinating with the finance department to follow up on payments.
  • Requirements:

    A Bachelor's education is helpful work experience is highly regarded as an equivalent option. Experience in project coordination is a major plus. Key skills required oral and written communication, prioritizing, scheduling, coordination, time management, capable of working in a team environment and solution oriented.
