**Description**
**Traffic Signal Installer**
This position is responsible for installing and repairing traffic control equipment.
**Job Type** : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain electrical systems and microprocessor-based controllers including relays, wiring, conflict monitors, signal suspension cables, poles, communication modules, underground conduits, related lighting, and vehicle detectors.
+ Calibration and troubleshoot circuit boards, run diagnostic tests, analyze data of traffic flow and design timing of signal control devices.
+ Review inventory to ensure you have the tools and replacement parts needed.
+ Works independently and with Crews, and reports to administrative management.
+ Works around and communicates with customers and public to maintaining a high level of professionalism
+ Keep company equipment and vehicles well maintained
+ Reports to General Foreperson any issues or concerns
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ Must be able to read traffic blueprints and interpret plan set layouts.
+ Ability to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers.
+ Able to operate heavy equipment to install signal items and install power service.
+ Must be able to read, write and comprehend written and verbal instructions/information.
**Education & Experience**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
**Pre-Screen**
+ Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
**License & Certifications:**
+ Valid Driver's License required.
**Travel Requirements:**
+ Must be willing to travel and work away from home
