What You'll Do:
- Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of traffic signals, signage, and roadway markings.
- Develop schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth traffic operations.
- Troubleshoot traffic signal systems and ensure compliance with standards like MUTCD.
- Lead contractors and staff, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.
- Respond to emergencies and support the Traffic Control Center during peak hours or special events.
- Recommend updates to policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
What You Bring:
- Associate's Degree in civil engineering, technology, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- At least 3 years (5 preferred) of experience in traffic engineering, control systems, or public works.
- Project management expertise is a plus.
- Strong understanding of traffic signals, signage, and adaptive traffic systems.
- Knowledge of AC/DC electrical wiring and electronic traffic control devices.
- Familiarity with MUTCD standards and traffic management tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and contractor management skills.
- Licensing: A valid Georgia driver's license.
