We are looking to hire entry/mid-level professional with 0-5 years of experience to work with the Transportation group in our Meriden, CT office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with engineering analysis tasks, such as traffic analysis; traffic signal sequencing, phasing and timing; traffic data collection; technical reports; and traffic modeling and simulation
• Prepare engineering plans including traffic signal design; intersection geometrics including Complete Streets principles; pavement markings and signage; and temporary traffic control and construction staging plans
• Assist in preparation of contract documents, including plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates
• Provide responsive client service and strong communication, both internally and externally
• Prepare materials and attend project related meetings outside of the office with clients, agencies, and the public
• Maintain organized project files

Required Experience:

• 0-5 years of relevant traffic/transportation experience for consultants or DOT/Municipalities
• Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) is required
• Experience with Vissim and Synchro preferred
• Knowledge of / exper
• Experience with traffic impact studies, corridor design, signal design, and signing / pavement marking
