**Job Description**
A Truck Assembler is responsible for completing the following duties:
* Performing all necessary assembly routines before and after trucks and trailers are painted
* Installing pre-fabricated parts on trucks trailers
* Operating equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
* Reading and interpreting blueprints to perform proper assembly procedures
* Using a variety of hand tools to complete assembly procedures
* Installing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems on tanker trucks and trailers
* Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
* Strong mechanical background or experience
* Understanding of 12V electrical systems
* Ability to read blueprints
* Ability to read 1/8, 1/16, gradations on tape measure
* Ability to convert feet to inches and vice versa
* Familiarity with FCAW welding
