1st Shift - Reed Lane - TrainerShift Time: 7:55 a.m. - 4:55 p.m.Pay Rate: $ 16.50 per hour **POULTRY EXPERIANCE REQUIRED**Summary The main responsibility is to ensure an effective and successful process of accompaniment and technical training to contribute to the adaptation curve of the new employee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Receive candidates and give them a tour to know the process and all its context.Hold a short interview with the candidates and give their hiring opinion to Recruitment and Selection area.Show up with the new entries in the closure of the Orientation Process.Welcome the new employee on their first day of work.Show the facilities.Ensure the assignment and delivery of work tools if applicable.Introduce new entry to Supervisor and co-workers.Encourage the integration of the new employee.Promote a good working environment.Theoretical and practical training on the tasks assigned to the new employee.Clarify all doubts about the role and function of the new employee in a timely manner.Verify that the learning has been effective.Verify daily attendance of new assigned entries (during the first 30 days)Contact the new employee who has missed work to understand the situation and support him/her.Daily check-in with the employee and ensure their well-being and comfort at work.Attend meetings to review relevant points with the head of Human Resources and production.Incident reporting and problem solver for new employees.Report the results of the Adjustment Interview applied to the new entry.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly monitors new entries during the new hire process and addresses any concerns during the first 30 days. Responsibilities include training employees on company rules, policies, and procedures; planning, participate in Orientation Process, addressing complaints and directing employees to HR. Provide a point of contact for employee. Conduct pertinent work experience surveys.

- To know what his/her perception of the plant tour was.
- To analyze the viability of the hiring.
- To ask the Area Supervisor to conduct another exploratory interview with the candidates.
- The Trainer and Supervisor must share comments to the Recruitment and Selection area and provide feedback on the feasibility of hiring candidates.
- The Trainer receives the new entrants at the entrance and takes them to the room where the Orientation Process will take place.
- At the end of the orientation process session, he/she accompanies them to the exit and agrees with them the time of entry for the next day.
- To receive the new employee on his first day of work.
- To introduce the facilities of general interest (dining room, bathrooms, medical service, payroll, etc.).
- Before entering the operation, reinforce the Good Manufacturing Practices.
- To Introduce the Area Supervisor and closest co-workers
- To assign the necessary working tools and required PPE according to the area
After the tour, Trainer will ask the applicant if they are still interested. If they say no, Trainer will say:

- I will let hiring team know you are not interested.
- If the applicant says they are interested, the Trainer will turn them over to the Hiring Coordinator for a follow up interview to determine the ideal position.

Education and/or Experience 1 -2 years of poultry processing experience.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees, management, and other employees of the organization when necessary. Any additional language a plus.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other QualificationsThis position requires an excellent understanding of further processing and production processes as it relates to specific work environment. An excellent understanding of processing standards, slaughter, debone and prepared foods processes.
