What You'll Do:
- Lead Inspiring Training Sessions: Plan, organize, and conduct engaging and educational training sessions for Behavioral Health Resources (BHR) staff and clients.
- Create Innovative Materials: Design and develop training materials, including visual aids and resources, tailored to meet the highest standards set by DMH, CARF, and AAS accredited organizations.
- Enhance Programs: Assess training needs, evaluate existing programs, and implement improvements to boost staff performance and program effectiveness.
- Support in Real-Time: Take live crisis calls, participate in test calls, role plays, and consultations with trainees, maintaining proficiency in crisis line skills.
- Evaluate and Improve: Administer and evaluate qualification, learning, and retention tests, providing constructive feedback and arranging additional training as needed.
- Manage E-Learning: Assist with the coordination and management of the E-Learning Management System (Relias) and support training scheduling and delivery.
- Prepare and Facilitate: Reserve and set up audiovisual equipment and training rooms, and prepare and distribute training aids and materials.
- Track Progress: Work closely with managers and leads to track trainee progress and ensure effective training outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in training or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation abilities and knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in multimedia training platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Training Expertise: Ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
- Relationship Building: Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with staff at all levels.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
