OF DUTIES: (Incumbent of position is a member of DFS Disaster Response Team and, in that capacity, may be required on short notice to perform duties and necessary attendant travel in support of disaster relief efforts.) Serves as the Division of State Fire Marshal Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Program Coordinator. Develops and implements a state-wide community risk reduction training program in collaboration and coordination with statewide partners and local agencies to include a statewide risk assessment. Develops and implements marketing and communications strategies to promote emergency preparedness, risk reduction, fire and life safety training/education including social media and email campaigns and public relations.
