Training CoordinatorFLSA:ExemptReports To:Director of Human ResourcesPhysical Requirements:General OfficeHours of Work:Full Time, 37.5 hours per weekPay Range: The pay range is $58,460 to $82,800Job Summary:Responsible for leading a team who collaborates closely with others including the Sr. Leadership Team, and Operations Management, to develop and implement creative, engaging, and high-quality training for our employees, across all levels, operations, and work locations, in-person, and virtually while adhering to both Agency and OPWDD compliance. This role is as much about strategic thinking as it is about substantive implementation. This is a working manager position with an expectation that this role leads by example with a train-the-trainer mentality, mentor, coach, and practitioner attitude.Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred with concentration in Human Services, Human Resources or Training and Employee Development and minimum three years progressive supervisory experience or an Associate's degree required with preferred concentration in Human Services, Human Resources or Training and Employee Development, and minimum five years progressive supervisory experience.A working knowledge of OPWDD regulations preferredValid NYS Drivers LicenseMust be able to read, write and speak the English language.Must be able to travel for agency businessMajor Responsibilities:Supervises, coaches and develops Staff Training and Development TeamEnsure accurate scheduling, attendance to, and documentation of training is completed in compliance with State, Agency and Federal MandatesProvides agency support for resolution of ADM's (Administrative Memos) from OPWDD in order to meet training requirementsAssists in developing, updating and delivering training programs and/or offering outside training opportunities, systems and processes to support growth and on-going development of all employeesWork closely with Operations Management to develop, update and deliver trainings that are applicable to both hard and soft skills needed at all levels (Charge/AM/Manager and AD) by regular attendance at AD, Regional and Mentor MeetingsAssist Members of Sr. Leadership Team in development of measurable department goals that support the Overall Strategic Plan.Coordinate and provide feedback and results from the agency's bi-annual succession planning processes as submitted by supervisors. (Regarding Performance and Promote-ability).Acts as a resource, coach and mentor to all Leaders, Managers and Supervisors in writing and implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) as need dictates.Facilitates leadership work teams for planning and implementation of LDI's (leadership Development Institutes) serving as Team Lead, making recommendations, adjustments as agreed and delivering to all Leaders.System Administrator of HRIS for Sage Training ModuleDisclaimer -The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
