JOB SUMMARY:The Training Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and facilitating training programs for all Operation PAR staff. This role ensures that all training requirements mandated by licensure and accreditation bodies are met within the specified time frames. This position will travel regularly to Operation PAR sites to deliver these training sessions.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited establishment.
- CAP or MCAP certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of working directly with clients in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of training requirements for licensure and accreditation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to manage multiple training programs and schedules simultaneously.
- Ability to travel regularly within the state.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Training Scheduling and Facilitation:
- Schedule training sessions for all staff, ensuring compliance with mandated time frames required by licensure and accreditation.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive training calendar.
- Facilitate engaging and effective training programs across various topics pertinent to the agency's needs. Topics include but are not limited to:
- New Employee Orientation
- CPI
- Ethics
- Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
- Avatar (EMR)
- Mental Health First Aid
- Motivational Interviewing
- Trauma Informed Care
- Medication Assisted Treatment
- Clinical Documentation
2. Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all training programs meet the standards set by licensure and accreditation bodies.
- Maintain accurate records of all training activities, including attendance, assessments, and certifications.
- Provide timely reports on training activities and compliance status to management.
3. Travel and On-Site Training:
- Travel regularly to Operation PAR sites to deliver training sessions at different locations.
- Adapt training content and delivery methods to suit diverse audiences and settings.
4. Program Development:
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop appropriate training programs.
- Update training materials regularly to reflect current best practices and regulatory changes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
5. Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with department heads and supervisors to coordinate training schedules and address specific training needs.
- Provide support and resources to staff to enhance their learning and professional development.
- Act as a resource for staff seeking additional training or professional development opportunities.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience working directly with clients in a Substance Use Disorder treatment setting; experience in both Outpatient and Residential settings strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training management software.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and virtual training tools.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Regular travel within the state between Hernando and Lee county.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate training schedules for various staff schedules.
- Ability to lift and transport training materials and equipment.
