Minimum EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Experience0Summary The training coordinator (TC) provides administrative and technical support with all TC duties and additionally provides administrative and technical support to the Senior Program Administrators (SPAs) and the FFIEC Examiner Education manager (manager). The TC provides support to the SPAs in the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of FFIEC Examiner Education training programs. The TC coordinates and collaborates with fellow TCs and other FFIEC Examiner Education Office (EEO) staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of EEO operations. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists the SPAs in planning, developing, evaluating, revising and maintaining FFIEC Examiner Education training programs for FFIEC member agencies, state regulatory agencies that supervise financial institutions and other federal agencies.
  • Assists with organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and overseeing the logistics for assigned training programs. Ensures appropriate arrangement of training rooms and training materials specific to the needs of the particular training program.
  • Drafts, maintains and revises as needed training program materials and correspondence including agendas, attendee letters, speaker invitations, travel and hotel arrangements with speakers and travel agency and sending out final agendas and thank you letters to speakers. Utilizes written and oral communications skills to liaise and exchange information with numerous stakeholders including training attendees, vendors, speakers and instructors, FFIEC member organization staff, and FFIEC staff. Ensures timely and accurate printing/electronic distribution of all materials to all stakeholders.
  • Develops training program evaluations, compiles statistical reports and maintains accurate training program and speaker records in the FFIEC Speaker Database.
  • Assists with coordinating, scheduling and attending interagency development group planning meetings. Assures that stakeholders receive all pertinent information in a timely manner.
  • Distributes training program materials utilizing the electronic delivery platform for assigned training programs.
  • Assist with the editing of various audiovisual aids, PowerPoint presentations, and Turning Point presentations to complement FFIEC programs, including overhead transparencies, handouts, flip charts, signage, posters, etc. Ability to edit and scan documents that are not available in electronic format.
  • Convert and compile presentation materials for printing such as adjusting page layouts, background images/colors and reconverting for legible printing on a Xerox high capacity printer.
  • Work with the operations assistant (OA) to ensure training programs materials are accurately printed and documented on the Xerox MakeReady system.
  • Creates purchase requisitions for speakers requiring travel reimbursements and honorarium fees.
  • Maintains training program implementation plans to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of training program operations.
  • Provides input to the FFIEC EEO Procedures Manual and FFIEC Emergency Procedures. Reviews this publication for updates as new classes/procedures are developed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Position RequirementsQualifications - Internal Requires organizational, time management, and communication skills, and learning agility normally acquired through completion of HSD/GED or equivalent and five years of experience (FR-22), six years of experience (FR-23) or a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and four years' experience providing support in a training environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro and requires ability to learn specialized software applications. Must be customer service focused and able to work effectively with at all levels. The Examiner Education Office of FFIEC administers the many facets of training programs for federal and state financial institution examiners. Though a hybrid schedule is driven by the role, this position will require an on-site presence in Arlington, VA at the L. William Siedman Center as needed for in-person classes.
