Job Summary

As the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible in ensuring compliance, which can be time-consuming, but it is essential for maintaining standards. This person will serve as a third support leg, extending the capacity of the trainers throughout Ohio and Kentucky. Their work will include conducting quality control checks to maintain high standards. The individual should be grounded administratively, well-organized, and tech-savvy, with strong computer skills. Additionally, they should be cross trained in training duties and serve as a backup to the trainers when needed.

You will oversee the maintenance of compliance with Inter-Con requirements, as well as local, state, and/or federal authorities, entities, or other oversight/advisory boards with regards to training and record-keeping as required for documentation, analysis, and reporting purposes. You will lead and/or assist efforts in the development of training manuals, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

Training program experience that includes but is not limited to:

  • Knowledge and experience with different training delivery methods (OJT, Web-based, etc.) and types (technical, professional, team, safety, etc.).
  • Assign training to personnel as applicable.
  • Schedule personnel to attend applicable training.
  • Assist Training Manager in developing computerized, on-the-job training in a dedicated portal and with an optimized ability to review training records electronically as well as create proactive training plans based upon Data Center ongoing information analyses.
  • Assist Training Manager in preparing compliance reports and to identify areas for improvement associated with contract-specific policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Coordinate, develop, deliver, and manage employee training and development programs; conduct needs assessments; identify training needs; develops and/or customizes training courses, content, and materials; oversees and deliver training; evaluates effectiveness; and adjust as necessary to improve training outcomes.
  • Develop and implement method of measuring the effectiveness of training programs.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Shall posses a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency, however, possession of a college degree is highly desirable.
  • Two (2) years prior continuous security experience in an environment where access control activities are prominent; or 2 years' experience in the miliary, intelligence community or other Government security or law agency; or 2 years ‘experience as a certified sworn police officer; or combination of above.
  • Must be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgement.
  • Must possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits, and certifications required by the assignment to perform security officer duties.
  • Pass an extensive background check
  • Pass a physical exam
  • Pass a 5-panel drug test
  • Able to perform all duties without regard to any physical limitations that would preclude full performance of duty.
