This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating training activities while aligning with RailPros' commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.The ideal candidate is client-focused, efficiency-driven, and well-organized, capable of aligning client needs with resources in a timely manner. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal teams, instructors, and external clients. Responsibilities include resource allocation, material shipment, LMS population, and course logistics.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Training Coordination:
- Schedule and organize training programs, ensuring alignment with operational and client needs.
- Collaborate with instructors to determine availability and assign training sessions.
- Coordinate logistics for training, managing virtual platforms, and preparing materials and equipment.
- Assist in the sale of training events by providing detailed information about courses and services.
Program Administration:
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) calendar and availability schedules.
- Handle registration and enrollment processes, ensuring participants receive necessary pre-session information.
- Communicate effectively with clients, instructors, and stakeholders about training details.
- Assist with invoicing and logistics for training events and instructor assignments.
Program Development & Compliance:
- Stay updated on federal railroad regulations and industry best practices to maintain compliance and effectiveness in training programs.
- Support audits and maintain documentation for compliance.
- Update training materials to reflect regulatory changes and industry advancements.
Participant & Trainer Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, instructors, and participants, addressing questions and resolving issues.
- Prepare and distribute training materials, including manuals and online resources.
- Monitor training sessions to ensure they meet RailPros' standards of excellence.
Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Detail-oriented and a proactive problem-solver.
- Knowledge of railroad operations, safety principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and maintain a culture of safety and operational excellence.
Required Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in training coordination, scheduling, or logistics.
- Experience in customer service.
- Knowledge of the railroad industry and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in training coordination, project management, or administrative support.
- Knowledge of federal railroad regulations and safety principles (e.g., FRA compliance, 49 CFR Part 243).
