Standards of Performance and Goals:
- Assess, plan, design and build content, learning assets and activities, incorporating adult learning theory within content, in multiple modalities (computer-based, classroom, virtual, multimedia), and leveraging best-in-class e-learning authoring software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
- Coordinates and tracks learning opportunities and training programs for all employees to ensure training sessions are coordinated in a timely and organized manner and then tracked to build and record an accurate learning transcript for employees and management use. Serves as application administrators and subject matter experts for St. Mary's Bank's learning management system. Maintains and facilitates the New Employee Orientation program for all new incoming internal members of St. Mary's Bank.
- Effectively delivers training through various delivery channels i.e. virtual classrooms, in-person facilitation, hybrid learning, etc. in order to achieve desired performance of employees and to build a more knowledgeable workforce.
- Coordinates and delivers Member Experience training programs in order to build and enhance the sales and service culture at the Credit Union.
- Effectively and accurately write and maintain procedures, tracking and updating of communications (Operational Communications, emails to employees, etc.) and the Employee Directory to ensure an accurate and up to date knowledge management system. Serves as application administrators and subject matter experts for knowledge management system.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in related field or equivalent work experience desired.
- Three or more years of experience in Human Resources, organizational leadership and development, as a subject matter expert, or in a training and development (preferably in a financial institution) as a subject matter expert, or in a training and development (preferably in a financial institution) with demonstrated success in developing and delivering effective performance-based training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to design, conduct, and evaluate post instruction outcomes using various levels of current learning evaluation methods (ADDIE or SAM and Kirkpatrick Model of Training Evaluation)
- Proficiency and experience in industry standard tools (authoring tools, digital, graphics media, audio, animation, and video production tools) to create impactful content and materials.
- Time management skills to include prioritizing workload based on assignments, completing deliverables, and tracking multiple projects through completion within allotted timeframes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as the ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Superb organization skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills to include formal presentation and facilitation.
- Ability to communicate online using, email, chat, videoconferencing and other technology-based communication media.
- Ability to partner and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
- Able to travel to all company locations utilizing own transportation.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of banking, financial software and systems to include Microsoft products as well as various content creation tools i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
