Job Description:
ODW Logistics is a people-focused and customer-driven third-party logistics (3PL) provider committed to delivering seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions. Our extensive range of services include supply chain design and innovation, warehousing, efficient distribution and fulfillment, freight brokerage, transportation management, and specialized e-commerce fulfillment solutions.
  • Coordinates training with Training Supervisor and Operations.
  • Meets and greets new associates and partners with Operations on the placement of associates (first day).
  • Provides a facility tour to new associates.
  • Assesses training needs for associates.
  • Observe and provides training feedback to associates on the progress of their training.
  • Train new associates, as well as retrain and cross-train current associates, on all aspects of their role and processes.
  • Completes training and evaluation paperwork.
  • Delivers various training programs such as GMP training.
  • Conducts training Audits/Process audits.
  • Job breakdown sheet audit/maintenance /updating.
  • Coaches' hourly trainers - train the trainer sessions.
  • Supports in conducting BBSO and LM observations.
  • Partner with CI on various initiatives and projects.
  • Reports status of training programs.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Coordinates delivery of training.
  • Understand company goals and work to create an environment for success.
  • Supports in conducting MHE hands-on certification.
Education and ExperienceRequired
  • HS Diploma Required
  • Associate's degree or Military experience preferred.
  • Preferred 3+ years Forklift experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of process improvement procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to identify gaps in training
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Good planning and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and execute projects and training initiatives

Physical & Mental Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee requires the ability to:
  • Hear, read and comprehend, write and communicate
  • Frequently sit, type and perform repetitive wrist motion
  • Continuously stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn or reach on even and uneven surfaces
  • Focus (with or without corrective lenses) to see close and distant, along with depth perception capabilities
  • Use material handling equipment that must be operated according to specific operation procedures
  • Spend 50 - 75% of time on warehouse floor in fast-paced environment
