JOB TITLE:Training Manager EMPLOYMENT TYPE:Full-time, 40 hours/wk SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM PROGRAM/LOCATION: Windsor, CT/Hybrid schedule PC#: 1196 OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive training programs for both clinical and non-clinical staff.This role ensures that all training initiatives align with the organization's mission, vision and goals, enhancing the skills and competencies of employees to provide high quality behavioral health services DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research, design, coordinate and/or develop training programs that address the needs of clinical and non-clinical staff at CHR.
- Ensure that training programs are evidence-based and align with current best practices in behavioral health.
- Identify learning and development needs through job analysis and regular consultation with management to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
- Coordinate training and retraining requests and provide service improvement recommendations.
- Maintain communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training events and general training information.
- Deliver training sessions covering various topics, such as leadership development, new employee orientation, computer skills, interpersonal skills, and quality/process issues.
- Conduct follow-up studies of completed trainings to evaluate and measure effectiveness of training.
- Organize and track CHR's Annual Trainings.
- Administer all aspects of CHR's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Apply for Continuing Education (CE's) when appropriate.
- Ensures all training programs comply with relevant laws, regulations and accreditation standards.
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field.A Master's degree preferred. Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and delivery of training is required. (Experience in related fields can be substituted.) Experience in a non-profit organization is highly desirable.Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
