The Training Specialist will assist in the coordination, implementation and administration of training programs and requirements to support business objectives.This is a 1st Shift position.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Develops and tracks all training processes for the facilityDevelop competency assessment processes for production intent training (IE Machining/assembly)Organize and lead rapid improvement events targeting training improvementCoordinates New Employee Orientation and facilitates hourly onboarding program through on-the-job training (OJT)Coordinate with internal and external partners to identify the training needs of the workforce to develop content and facilitate eventsEvaluate effectiveness of training programs and benchmark with industry best-practices to make recommendations for improvement and then execute those improvementsCollaborate with management to proactively identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, gaps in training, and other processesConduct internal ISO 9001/IATF 16949 auditsRegularly conduct process checks related to training and developmentParticipate and lead IATF 16949 compliance related to training and competenceBackground & SkillsBasic QualificationsMinimum two (2) years' experience working in a manufacturing environmentJob CriteriaStrong ability to organize, prioritize projects, and work independentlyAbility to collaborate with others achieve resultsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Able to conduct effective training sessions objectively and confidently to key stakeholders at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated ability to research and analyze various types of feedback to make recommendations for improvements to current business practicesDanfoss – Engineering TomorrowAt Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
