Plan and develop an overall training program relevant to those identified needs.Plan and develop new course curriculum or modules (including detailed lesson plans, instructional material, tests, and other course evaluation methods) in accordance with the training process and instructional design concepts used by Training Department.Plan and coordinate course logistics including notification and scheduling.Planning, selecting and coordination of relevant programs and curriculum from external sources. Assist in modifying/customizing these programs as necessary to most accurately meet program area(s) needs.Assure the training programs follow compliance or surpass regulatory agency requirements.Prepare appropriate reports for management to use in future planning and informed decision-making related to such areas as: program planning, program development, resource planning, space planning, and budget considerations.Deliver/present training courses as assigned.Assure the training record of each trainee is timely and accurately recorded.Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Training.Qualifications/Requirements of Job:Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 8 years of training and instructional design experience.As a federal government contractor, BWX Technologies, Inc. and any subsidiaries, affiliates and related entities (“BWXT” or the “Company”) complies with all federal, state, and local laws and customer requirements regarding COVID-19 and other health and safety protocols.
