Compensation: To $145K.Job Overview Transaction Advisory Director 33325The TAS Director serves as a key leader within the organization, driving the successful execution of financial due diligence engagements while exceeding client expectations. This position is integral to advancing the firms TAS strategy, managing multiple complex engagements, and cultivating enduring client relationships. The Director works closely with a diverse range of clients, including strategic buyers, private equity firms, and individual investors.In addition to leading engagement teams, the TAS Director contributes to practice growth through business development, strategic resource planning, and cross-selling of the firms services. This role requires a results-driven professional with exceptional technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes.Job ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement Leadership
- Lead client engagement teams through all project phases, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and efficient service delivery.
- Oversee transaction advisory activities across multiple buy-side and sell-side engagements, addressing key deal-specific issues such as quality of earnings adjustments, normalization calculations, working capital analysis, debt analysis, and sale and purchase agreement reviews.
- Establish and uphold rigorous engagement quality standards, delivering sophisticated insights tailored to each project.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring exceptional satisfaction.
- Leverage the firms broader capabilities to provide holistic, value-driven solutions during client engagements.
Due Diligence and Report Review
- Review and approve due diligence reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance for client decision-making in M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and articulate transaction-related risks and issues, delivering actionable insights to clients.
Practice Development
- Drive the growth of the TAS practice through business development, networking, and expanding the client base.
- Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients while participating in cross-functional initiatives to promote the firms services.
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities to enhance TAS offerings and increase market presence.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- CPA certification required.
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in transaction advisory services and/or financial due diligence.
- Proven track record in client management, leading engagements, and developing staff.
- Proficient in quality of earnings analysis and working capital adjustments.
- Strong skills in report writing, data analysis, and delivering clear, impactful presentations.
- Expertise in financial analysis, transaction structuring, and providing strategic M&A decision-making support.
- Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative, client-focused approach.
- Exceptional business development skills, including successful networking and client acquisition.
- Keen attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
