This client is a full service independent investment bank seeking an associate to join their Transaction Advisory Services group. This team provides diligence to financial, tax, data analytics, cybersecurity, and technical accounting to private equity and corporate clients.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise team members (Analysts) on projects
- Examine target company financial data and other information to identify:
- Historical and anticipated financial and operational trends
- Quality of earnings
- Generate operational insights using data and analytics to assess profitability drivers and evaluate key risks and opportunities for a company
- Prepare and review customized transaction advisory reports
- Assess financial models including database systems
- Build professional network and relationships with firm, client, and target professionals
- Review transaction agreements, customer and supplier contracts, and develop valuation considerations
- Work closely with corporate finance, valuation, and financial restructuring colleagues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of financial due diligence experience
- CPA
- Highly motivated with exceptional work ethic
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability and willingness to travel
