The **Transaction Support Specialist** will be responsible for managing and monitoring the activities associated with various transactions and projects to support client initiatives including: loan acquisitions, loan sales, securitizations and other client-focused projects. Clients include large private equity/hedge funds, REITs, government entities, insurance companies, investment banks and banks that invest in or manage residential mortgages.

**What you will do for Fay:**

* Provide materials associated with loan pools for purchase, sale and securitization by Fays clients

* Assist in data and reconciliations, client and counterparty requests and coordination of relevant activities

* Obtain and maintain information per transaction that is essential to the servicing operation

* Assign and monitor tasks through inter-departmental coordination

* Communicate, plan, provide, and retrieve information with various internal and external parties including Fays departments and our clients/counterparties

* Provide information and complete due diligence questionnaires associated with potential transactions and business engagements with various counterparties

* Manage and track notices from third parties for routing and handling

**What you will bring to Fay:**

* Bachelors degree in business, finance or similar area; High school diploma/GED required

* 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry; servicing or originations background desired

* Exceptional oral and written communications skills and good time management

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (at least VLOOKUP skill); knowledge in Black Knight Financial Services LoanSphere/MSP desired but not required

* Ability to demonstrate initiative and reflect a sense of urgency by meeting or exceeding deadlines

* Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and professional

* Excellent organizational skills

* Excellent writing skills

* Ability to multitask

* Analytical and comfortable with data
