Job Description Job Title: Transactional Healthcare Associate Location: Multiple Locations in Tennessee Overview: A reputable firm is seeking a talented and experienced Transactional Healthcare Attorney to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare law and transactional work, with the ability to provide legal counsel on a wide range of healthcare-related transactions and regulatory matters. Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate various healthcare-related agreements, including contracts with healthcare providers, payers, vendors, and clients. - Provide legal guidance and support on healthcare regulatory compliance matters, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations. - Conduct due diligence reviews for healthcare transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. - Advise on healthcare licensing, accreditation, and certification issues. - Stay current on changes in healthcare laws and regulations and provide proactive legal advice to ensure compliance. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives and other departments, to address legal issues and mitigate risks. Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Active license to practice law in Tennessee - Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing healthcare law, with a focus on transactional work. - Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. - Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred.
