Hershey Medical Center****Location** : US:PA:Hershey**Work Type** : Full Time**FTE** : 0.90**Shift** : Night**Hours** : 6:30p - 7:00a; every third weekend**SUMMARY OF POSITION** :Responsible for accepting incoming referral information via multimedia andworking directly with bed management and direct care nursing to coordinate inpatient bed assignments (particularly critically ill) for patients at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Coordinates, prioritizes, and optimizes patient flow using knowledge of clinical and operational activities throughout the hospital network.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**Bachelor's degree in Nursing requiredThree (3) years' Critical Care Nursing experience requiredCurrently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):**Five (5) years' Critical Care Nursing experience preferred_This job description is a general outline of duties performed and is not to be misconstrued as encompassing all duties performed within the position.
