Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.What you'll be doing as a Transfer Clerk:
- Receiving and processing incoming materials and stock, and verifying the quality and quantity against packing and shipping slips
- Picking and filling orders from stock, and ensuring they are complete, accurate, and ready for delivery
- Packing and shipping orders
- Inventory management
- Managing and organizing inventory, and entering and updating inventory levels in the system
- Warehouse equipment
- Operating warehouse equipment, and performing preventive maintenance, such as spot checks, oiling moving parts, and cleaning and servicing tools and equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and following all safety procedures and regulations
- Other duties of a warehouse clerk may include:
- Tagging inventory items
- Updating the property log
- Storing items in a safe and efficient manner
- Returning damaged tools and equipment for repair or replacement
- Assisting in stocking shelves
- Handling customer service inquiries
- Some skills that are ideal for a warehouse clerk include: Strong attention to detail, Ability to work independently, and Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Available shifts:Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) , WeekendsJob requirements:
- The expectation is that all the transfers are received on the same day so we can begin pulling orders before the end of the day.
- The transfer clerk needs to be fast and accurate, scan gun experience is a plus.
- Transfers are a high priority and this position is important to the overall production of our internet shipping.
- Background check and drug screening required.
