Transformation & Change Team Lead AmericasNew York, NY I Stamford, CT I Hartford, CT I Morristown, NJ I Exton, PA I USAAs part of Transformation & Change Delivery (TCD), the Transformation & Change team (T&C) oversees the implementation of AXA XL's most strategic, complex and cross-functional initiatives. From Planning to Delivery and post-Delivery phases, T&C is responsible for making transformation and change become an operational reality across the company and for delivering the expected benefits.T&C also leads AXA XL's methodology center of excellence: definition of methodology and best practices for traditional (waterfall) as well as new ways of working (agility), delivery of training programs, offering of coaching services and management of communities of practices.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?As Transformation & Change Team Lead, you will be responsible for:* People Management: Will own the day-to-day aspects of people management covering hiring, onboarding, development, performance management and support of individual team members. HR duties such as time tracking, holiday tracking, performance tracking, inputs in compensation process are also part of the role.* Team building and upskilling: Ensure a solid team structure and a team-spirit environment is being put in place for your sub-team. Act as a manager coach for the team, and thus encourage knowledge transfer, co-development, peer-to-peer reviews between colleagues to broaden the skillset and expertise of the individual team members.* Program oversight and quality insurance: Will ensure the successful delivery of all Programs assigned to the sub-team you are responsible for by providing guidance on approach and oversight of deliveries. Ensure consistency of methodologies and compliance with the standards.* Stakeholder Engagement: Drive stakeholder engagement for all Programs of the sub-team to obtain feedback on execution performance (hard skills as well as soft skills) of your team members. Take actions as needed.* External resource management: manage external resources of the sub-team area from Vendor process, onboarding, performance and delivery quality to time tracking and invoicing process.Apart from management duties, you will be responsible for delivering Programs / Initiatives yourself, from initiation and planning to delivery / post-delivery phases:* Staffing and on-boarding of key stakeholders* Choice of methodology* Organization and governance* Documentation* Scope / budget / quality / planning management* Change management* Transition to BAU* Lessons learned and continuous improvementYou will also be contributing to T&C's leading role as AXA XL's methodology center of excellence (definition and continuous improvement of the methodology) as well as upskilling initiatives (trainings, PM-Change-Agile Academy, communities of practices…)In this role, you will report to the Head of Transformation & Change.SHARE your talentWe're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:* Excellent people management skills and experience in driving teams to success in an international environment* Proven leadership and capacity to upskill team members by acting as a manager coach and a mentor* Extensive experience in driving global cross functional programs in the P&C insurance industry and international environment, coupled with other relevant experience in internal/external consulting roles* Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, plus a creative mindset complemented with excellent social/collaboration skills to drive alignment among various stakeholders* Excellent organizational skills, communication and presentation skills. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience, and location.
