Job Overview: The Transformation Consultant is a key player in driving strategic change within our client's organization, a large paper manufacturer. This role is essential in defining and implementing the North America transformation plan, ensuring alignment with the BU Strategic Plan, and fostering the adoption of best practices across all business functions. The Transformation Consultant will work closely with the Chief Transformation Officer and other stakeholders to execute projects that optimize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and support the company's growth objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Transformation Planning: Collaborate with the Chief Transformation Officer to define and implement the North America transformation plan in alignment with the BU Strategic Plan.
- Project Management: Lead the execution of various strategic projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. This includes projects related to Commercial Excellence, Supply Chain optimization, and the integration of acquired companies.
- Governance & Communication: Establish and maintain transformation governance, facilitating communication with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and ensuring the harmonization of best practices.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional or cross-entity projects, providing structured approaches to problem-solving and project management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between central functions and local teams, ensuring effective communication and the removal of roadblocks.
- Analysis & Reporting: Conduct ad-hoc analyses, develop business cases, and prepare presentations for Steering Committees and management discussions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement optimization opportunities within the organization, including the development of new reports and processes as needed.
Requirements include:
- Education:
- Degree or Master's in STEM or Economics.
- Experience:
- 4-7 years of experience, with a strong preference for management consulting experience.
- Skills:
- Hands-on approach with a strong ability to navigate and clarify gray areas in project management.
- Fact-based problem-solving skills, including the ability to conduct medium to complex analyses and develop business scenarios.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel and PowerBI for analysis and reporting.
- Certifications:
- Not specifically required, but project management or transformation-related certifications are advantageous.
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with business processes in areas such as Supply Chain, Sales, or other business functions.
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong teamwork attitude and alignment with company principles of embracing transformation, striving for excellence, and fostering partnerships.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Additional Information:
- Work Environment: This role involves collaboration across various business functions and may require occasional travel to different company locations.
- Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required to support project implementation and stakeholder engagement across North America.
- Reporting Structure: The Transformation Consultant reports directly to the Chief Transformation Officer and works closely with other senior management and cross-functional teams.
