This role also involves maintaining accurate records of admissions statistics for grant purposes and assisting in the coordination of rentals and vendor relationships for events and programs. Additionally, the role involves scheduling events on the MOA and Shaw Center calendars, routing paperwork to the business manager, and weekly planning for events/rentals. Duties involve ordering event supplies/food, setting up food/drinks, and ensuring clean up post-event.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain weekly schedules for student workers
- Manage the distribution of student work-study funds, ensuring the department stays within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for student workers, addressing any scheduling or work-place issues.
- Assist in the training and onboarding process for new student workers.
- Track and report admissions statistics to assist with grant writing and funding applications.
- Assist in the setup and takedown of departmental events and programs, ensuring smooth operations and timely transitions.
- Assist with coordinating rentals for events, programs, and other departmental needs.
- Act as a liaison between the department and external vendors, ensuring that all contracts and services are aligned with event requirements.
