Location: Berthoud,CO, USA
Position Summary
Transload Operator oversees bulk material loading and unloading from trucks and railcars. Position will use equipment to perform duties including, transloaders, wheel loaders, conveyors and truck unloaders. Position will also have scale house responsibilities, including weighing trucks, issuing bills of lading, record keeping and communicating with truck drivers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
* Works safely, adheres to health and safety rules and uses appropriate PPE.
* Follows directions and completes tasks in a timely manner.
* Performs general labor activities including, but is not limited to, cleaning under tail pulleys and high build up areas, ensuring belts are tracking properly, and any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
* Operates and maintains equipment properly, including wheel loaders, transloaders, conveyors and truck unloaders.
* Performs pre-shift inspections of equipment.
* Maintains daily scale operations; recording outbound weights, generates tickets, daily records.
* Communicates process malfunctions or irregularities to supervisors.
* Performs general equipment upkeep and critical checks as directed by supervisor.
* Assists maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs including greasing, belt changes and equipment adjustments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
* Sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation and records; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics.
* Must be able to read and be proficient with simple math.
* Basic computer skills are required.
* Must be able to communicate effectively, using both written and spoken forms of communication.
* Must be a self-starter and be able to work with close supervision.
* Must be willing to work any assigned shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and be at least 18 years of age.
* Must have high safety standards for self and others.
* Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.

* Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling; climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant finger dexterity necessary 50 pounds of weight from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs./day)
* Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses, hard hat and steel toe boots must be worn at all times. Hearing, respiratory and/or fall protection equipment must be worn when required.
