All employees are responsible for performing their jobs in accordance with PG&E's vision and values.This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.A reasonable salary range is:
- Minimum: $143,000.00
- Midpoint: $194,000.00
- Maximum: $257,000.00
Reporting RelationshipThis position reports to the Sr. Director, Portfolio Operations, and has a team of individual contributors focused on all Portfolio Operations aspects of our Electric Transmission and Substation Portfolios. This includes providing data driven insights in Lean format and coordinating Containment Plans for T&S's WORs and MORs as well as the PDC, providing analytical support to T&S Program Managers, assisting with KPI tracking and development for T&S, and leading the annual T&S Workplan development process in collaboration with Asset, Engineering, IP, Major Projects, and T&S Operations.Job Responsibilities
- Collaborates closely with T&S Program Management and the T&S Chief of Staff Office as a key partner in helping ensure Electric Transmission and Substation is able to deliver on their full annual Portfolio of construction work safely and efficiently (on time, on unit target, on budget).
- Accountable for working with leaders across Asset Management, Engineering, Investment Planning, and others to develop each year's annual Workplan. Accountable for ensuring all of PG&E's annual T&S work unit targets are met across all programs as the overall Portfolio lead.
- Provides mentorship and coaching across all levels of Electric T&S on Lean Methodology including accountability for ensuring appropriate Catchback Plans and Lean Problem Solving where needed. This often involves coaching Sr Directors and VPs and then leading the follow-up to ensure containment plans and countermeasures are fully implemented.
- Oversees the management of unit completion tracking and visibility processes and improvement opportunities for PG&E's T&S portfolio. Oversees the management of PG&E's Electric T&S Portfolio, including providing materials and support for all DORs, WORs, MORs at the VP and below level.
- Serves as the lead negotiator/facilitator for trade offs that may need to occur in work execution across programs to ensure that T&S leadership is focused on the right objectives at the right time in line with regulatory and compliance commitments within authorized budget.
- Establishes strategic direction for Portfolio Management of T&S, rolling up Project, Program, and Process contributions together into a cohesive approach to improving T&S work delivery. Applies extensive expertise, consultation, and coaching in both Lean Methodology and data-driven decision making across T&S. Partners with T&S VP and other Sr Leadership to develop key goals and metrics for the Electric T&S functional area.
- Possesses an in-depth understanding of T&S work processes and various regulatory and compliance requirements connected to annual work delivery (ex: WMP). Supervises all employees in T&S Portfolio Management. Develops and manages Portfolio Management's group goals. Establishes strategic direction for the Portfolio Management group.

Applies extensive expertise and consultation to the development of strategy and resolution of complex issues. Provides career mentoring to employees. Background QualificationsMinimum
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, mathematics, engineering, environmental policy or equivalent field of study.
- Six (6) years minimum of relevant work experience.
- May require valid CA driver's license.
- Requires a minimum of four years of relevant work experience.
