TheTransportation Agent is responsible for the safe transportation of Curio Wellness products to Customer sites. Agents will also be responsible for the safe operation of any vehicles while in operation, ensuring all local, State, and federal traffic laws are followed. The ideal Transportation Agent is highly intelligent, and able to resolve problematic situations quickly (traffic jams, alternate routes). The goal is to help the company maintain excellence in delivery of products in a timely fashion without delay.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Be available to work a flexible work schedule, that will include overtime and weekends.
• Pack and load product onto trucks according to company's specifications
• Safe transport and delivery of products to retail customers.

• Understand and follow all rules and regulations set forth by the state of Maryland for delivery of medical cannabis products.
• Validate the accuracy of each delivery and ensure deliveries are made using controlled methods

• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as, equipment or property damage, theft presence of unauthorized persons, or other unusual occurrences.
• Contact and/or communicate with police, fire, or EMS personnel in cases of emergency.
• Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions and provide information.
• Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
• Handle the scheduling of preventive maintenance for all delivery vans.
• Develop delivery routes that are efficient.

Other Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers license with zero points or restrictions
• An official driving record of no more than three-months-old must be provided during the initial interview.
• Must be able to drive 10 plus hours without unnecessary delay.
• Maintain an insurable and safe driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility for others.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
