Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.We currently have openings for Transportation Aides.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Assist driver in transporting students safely to and home from school.
- Must comply with all state and local transportation laws and regulations and implement D.O.T safe driving requirements.
- Demonstrate the ability to follow directions.
- Must be able to assist students entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Will be responsible to monitor and supervise the behavior of the student in the vehicle and report any incidents of behavior to the Program Director.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Will help to maintain a clean school vehicle.
- Will complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Experience working with children/students, preferred
- Utilizes effective written and oral expression
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, stoop, sit, lift, and reach in order to perform essential duties and responsibilities
- Valid Driver's License, preferred
- Must provide successful and continued renewal of required clearances
