Continue reading Transportation Clerk 1st Shift We are currently looking for a transportation clerk/ support in a 3pl environment in our Greensboro Area!!As 3PL Support you will be responsible of preparing paperwork, creating manifests, and overseeing inbound/outbound activities while working on OS&Ds. Additionally, you will perform general clerical duties as assigned. The person in this role will be reporting to and working closely with the General Manager to coordinate, monitor and support 3PL activities. Pay $16.50 Shift 1st: 6am-2:30pmHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. ? Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation and logistics. ? Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook ? Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously ? Great communication skills ? Cross-functional collaboration Job Requirements: Preparing all paperwork (BOL & Manifest) for 3PL transfers. ? Creating 3PL manifests for warehouse team as needed. ? Handing over required paperwork to drivers. ? Properly inputs all load information into TMS system and forwards proper documentation via email to all parties. ? Oversee and keep track record of all inbound/outbound activities, working on OS&Ds. ? Ensure OS&D documents are reported and filed properly. ? Manage and maintain files and records, including electronic files and databases. ? Perform general clerical duties as assigned, such as photocopying, faxing, and filing. ? Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
