Assist residents on and off the bus.* Load groceries and other purchased items into the bus/van.* Makes miscellaneous runs for administration errands as necessary.* Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.* Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.* Completes a safety check of the applicable vehicle (i.e., car or bus) before transporting residents to and from scheduled activities and appointments.* Transports vehicle(s) to service locations for routine preventive maintenance on the vehicle(s) as scheduled by the supervisor.* Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.* Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:* High school education is required. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.* Valid Commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement preferred. Must have a good driving record.* Must maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with the residents at all times.* Must be able to interpret and follow map directions.Many community roles may require we ask about your vaccination status.
