Schedules and coordinates couriers to pick-up and deliver specimens. Maintains operational records and information. Job Responsibility Schedules and coordinates couriers to pick-up and deliver specimens. Enters names on assignment sheet for each trip. Notifies workers of assignment. Establishes courier availability. Assigns replacement courier, when needed. Maintains record of departure and return of courier for each trip including, but not limited to recording total time worked, and number of miles covered, using calculator. Receives incoming calls, verifies patient and client information, fills-out the Will Call form, receives paperwork, and prepares patient record according to department policy and procedures.
