Transportation Technician II
: Job Details :

Perform inspection of contractors operations on a variety of transportation projects including roadway and bridge construction to verify conformance to plans and specifications. Perform routine material testing. Measure and track quantities of pay items. Gather and maintain record documents including material certifications, testing reports, and inspectors daily diaries. Perform other related duties as assigned. Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills. Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening. Required Experience. Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and two (2) years of progressive technician level experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
