Job Requisition ID #24WD83745Position OverviewThe Mid-Market Transportation Territory Account Sales Manager manages a team of 3-5 regional employees responsible for expanding new business and renewals in assigned named accounts to achieve financial and business objectives. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting quarterly and annual targets by managing the team with up-selling, add-on sales, and cross-selling. You'll report to a Senior Director of AEC Sales and will work with our Marketing, Business Development, Autodesk Partner Management, Autodesk Channel Partners, Technical Team and Autodesk Field Sales. This is a remote role. Location: North AmericaResponsibilitiesManage a team of 3-5 Transportation SpecialistsGenerate new business by creatively expanding existing accountsResponsible for renewals in key accountsEvaluate and prepare business plans for each assigned account. This involves evaluating the customer profile, creating value messaging, and targeting important steps needed to execute account plansDevelop important relationships within the account including top Executives and translate customer challenges and opportunities into unique valueEnsure the Autodesk team delivers value to the Account(s), build an Account Business plan then execute this planBuild, maintain, and grow an opportunity pipeline within Account(s), utilizing sound call planning to achieve results and make continuous improvement transitioning Autodesk from vendor to trusted advisorManage accounts through entire sales process. As this is a field sales position, physically you visit customer location for business development, prospecting, and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales supportDeliver an accurate weekly, monthly & quarterly forecast of businessPartner collaboratively with channel partners to understand their business, creatively adopt programs to drive new revenue and expand partner relationshipsReach out and provide regular customer feedback to the product, industry & strategic marketing teams to help identify product strengths and areas of improvementNegotiate deals and contracts at multiple levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on C and enterprise level negotiationsSell complex service engagements and creatively seek alternative solutionsBe a Trusted Adviser for customers and identify win/win situationsMinimum QualificationsSales Management experience (5+ years)Proven track record (8+ years) consistent quota attainment with on premise, SaaS or a hybrid modelExperience managing or selling Enterprise Technology Software sales experience, within the Transportation industriesStrong team selling and management skillsExperience with direct and indirect selling channelsMotivated, determined & business orientedBachelor's degree or equivalent#LI-LR1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $206,200 and $298,430. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
