Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health is looking for a Full Time Evenings Transporter to join our team!Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) **Shift: Evenings 3PM-11 PM**flexibility to work e/o weekend or holiday as assigned/needed.The Transporter is responsible for the transporting of patients throughout the hospital with appropriate equipment and in a safe and in a timely manner.TransporterTransports patients on stretchers, beds and wheelchairs from one area of the hospital to designated area within the hospital campus, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient being transported.Observes and follows isolation technique during transport.Cooperatively assists in lifting patients in and out of bed as requested, exercising proper lifting techniques.Maintains a daily log of all transport calls rendered, maintains accurate incident log related to any transports.Participates in the cleaning and delivery of equipment to Central Supply.Assists in the delivery of supplies, equipment and linen when necessary.Cleans wheelchairs and ensures each area has an adequate number.Maintains Transport specific required certifications.QualificationsHS diploma or equivalency (required)Healthcare experience (preferred)Certification and Licensure - BCLS Certification (required)CPR certification - issued by American Heart AssociationFingerprint ClearanceChild Abuse History ClearanceStrong interpersonal skills, self-directed, organized and able to work independently.We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits includingMedical, Dental, & Vision CoverageRetirement Savings ProgramPaid Time OffTuition ReimbursementFree ParkingAnd more!Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionTrinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
