The transporter assists in the transporting of patients throughout the hospital. Responds to all codes. Secures appropriate equipment when asked. Orients new personnel in accordance with performance standards. Participates as a member of the patient care team taking into consideration needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
