OverviewMonterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is a 101 bed acute care community hospital. Monterey Park Hospital has provided our community with advanced medical and culturally sensitive healthcare services for over 50 years. Monterey Park Hospital is recruiting for a Transporter for Radiology. This is a per diem position and reports to the Director/Supervisor of Radiology.ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Imaging Director, the transporter will transport patients to any of the patient care units from various hospital areas and will accompany the nursing staff during transport of patients to various hospital areas and provide assistance to the ICU unit with safely moving patients when needed. He/she will also be part of the hospital Lift Team. The transporter will be responsible for transporting and clean dirty equipment from the nursing units to radiology as well as for the maintenance of the Hepa Filters hospital wide.QualificationsExperience: Minimum one-year's acute care hospital experience preferred.Certifications: BLS required.
