**Description:**

St. Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid Atlantic, is seeking a (Pool/per diem) Transporter to join our Team.

Schedule: Pool/per diem**

Shift: Rotating

**flexibility to work weekends/holidays as required/assigned

**Transporter**

+ Observes for and reports safety hazards and broken vehicles to the Lead Transporter for immediate repair.

+ Transport patients on stretchers, beds, and wheelchairs from one area of the hospital to designated area within the hospital campus, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient being transported.

+ Promptly reports any concerns of patients and/or happenings during transport to appropriate personnel.

+ Cooperatively assists in lifting patients in and out of beds as requested, exercising proper lifting techniques.

+ Cleans wheelchairs and ensures each area has an adequate number.

+ Keeps incident log of transports.

**Qualifications**

+ HS diploma or equivalency (required)

+ CPR Certification- issue by AHA

+ Fingerprint & Child Abuse History Clearance (completed during onboarding once hired)
