AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab Tech in Bangor, Maine, 04401!Pay Information$2,726 per weekAbout The Position**Job Title:** Cath Lab Tech**Job Specialty:** Interventional Services - Cardiac Cath Lab**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Four 10-hour shifts/week with 1 day off)**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab/IR, with at least 1-year travel experience**License:** Must have appropriate state licensure**Certifications:** BLS, ARRT with state license OR RCES/RCIS certified**Must-Have:** Experience in at least two modalities (Cath Lab, EP, IR/Neuro-Vascular); ability to read and interpret EKG, cardiac drip titration; scrub experience preferred**Job Description:**- Operate in a facility with 5 Cath Labs, 2 EP Labs, and 2 IR Labs, supporting a 36-bed pre/recovery area.- Handle inpatient and outpatient care primarily for adults, with occasional IR pediatric cases.- Manage all levels of patient acuity, from diagnostic procedures to cardiogenic shock.- Perform various procedures in the Cath Lab, including diagnostic imaging, left and right heart catheterizations, and complex procedures like TAVR and MitraClip.- Support general IR procedures such as neph tubes, feeding tubes, and embolization, as well as neuro-vascular IR procedures including carotid stenting.- Assist in EP procedures, including device implants and ablations.- Collaborate with a team comprising of a nurse manager, assistant managers, a charge nurse, and a lead tech for each specialty area.- Utilize the CERNER PowerChart for hospital operations and manage equipment such as Phillips and Siemens x-ray machines.- Participate in the call schedule, with responsibilities one day a week and approximately every sixth weekend.- Be prepared to float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP within the limits of expertise, and possibly assist in prep/recovery tasks.Join our team to provide top-tier care and work with an innovative medical team in a dynamic environment.9481175EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
