Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: TravelJob Description: Manages catheterization lab services activities, workflow and nursing resources. Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit. Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Monitors and adheres to budgets. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines. Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Unit Description: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider American Heart Association Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
