**Job Title:** Cath Lab Tech **Profession:** Allied Health Professional **Specialty:** Cath Lab Tech **Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Primarily Days with some late nights and on-call **Hours per Shift:** 10 hours **Experience:** 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required **License:** Certified Surgical Technician **Certifications:** Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT preferred **Must-Have:** - Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures - Knowledge of Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience including ECMO, Impella, IABP, and ProtekDuo - Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty - Critical care or Cardiac Experience - COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series - BLS Certification (AHA) **Description:** The Surgical Technologist will prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures. This includes setting up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. They must be able to anticipate equipment required during procedures. Operate equipment and maintain sterile instruments diligently. The Surgical Technologist will function in multiple roles on the procedure team. These roles include scrub, circulator, and documenter. Good organizational skills are essential. Applicants must meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health Law 2824.
