Compensation : $65 - $65 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : 138663 Shift Description : Day shifts - 36 hours (weekends rotating) Travel Computed Tomography Technologist New Braunfels, Texas, United States - 78130Job Title: Travel Computed Tomography Technologist Number of positions: 1 Shift: Day shifts- 36 hours (weekends rotating) Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 06/07/2023 Hourly Pay: $65 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,137 JOB DESCRIPTION Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patient's internal organs and tissues. Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies. Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes. Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients. Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions. Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues. Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality. Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required. QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years in CT Scan, angiograms, and CT procedures (ie: biopsies) in a hospital setting. EPIC experience required. Requirements: UPDATED RESUME ARRT CERTIFICATION RADIATION LICENSE COVID VACCINE WITH BOOSTER COPY BLS Certification: Basic Life Support Education: Associate's degree in nursing, required. Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred. Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Skills/Abilities: Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work with detailed, confidential material, computer experience required. Ability to follow directions and work with precision under pressure. Maintains sensitivity, maturity, and flexibility in coping with difficult situations.
