Travel Contract - Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Utica, New York, United States - 13501 Job Title: Travel Contract - Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Number of positions: 1 Shift: Day shifts- 36 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 07/19/2023 JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for delivery of patient care to a mainly geriatric population through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Also directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a RN (Emergency Department preferred).
- Critical care background preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Completion of a fully accredited Certification Surgical Tech program
- Minimum two years Emergency Room RN experience
- Active unencumbered RN New York state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- TNCC Certification required
