Compensation : $61 - $61 Hourly Start Date : 08/24/2023 End Date : 11/25/2023 Security Clearance : None Job Id : 60 RN Labor & Delivery Lourdes Hospital 169 Riverside Drive Binghamton, NY 13906 Brianna Pompey, Nurse Manager Night Shift 7p-7a with every other weekend rotation Department: LDRPN Unit Shift Timings: 19:00 - 07:30Roles & Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Hospital unit: Women's and Children's Unit description: LDRP
  • Nurse to patient ratio: utilize AWHONN guidelines
  • Patient population: 35 weeks and above, post partum moms, newborns
  • # beds per unit: 16 + 2 bed OBED
  • Other staff/resources on the unit: Surgical Tech
  • Certifications required per unit: BLS/NRP
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of RN Labor & Delivery experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
  • Active unencumbered RN New York state license

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
