- The PCCC provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnosis, medical/surgical treatment, and long-term follow-up care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with all types of acquired and congenital cardiac conditions.
- The nursing staff is specially trained to take care of patients with the most complex and/or rare congenital cardiac disorders.
- The PCCC is the only pediatric cardiac care center in Western NY.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BLS and ACLS - American Heart Association
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
- Active unencumbered RN New York state license
- One year of Epic experience
- PALS certification - American Heart Association
