Travel Respiratory Therapist Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist Shift: Days or Nights - 12 hours - three days Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/03/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $58 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,159 JOB DESCRIPTION 886 bed hospital. Level 1 trauma. This clinician will perform pulmonary function tests in our outpatient site in the ambulatory tower of Strong Memorial Hospital. Comprehensive orientation to workflows and physiology using ComPAS2 software to meet American Thoracic Society Standards. Team member will work in a collaborative environment with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and technicians to provide care to our complex patient population. Our most common condition management is with asthma, COPD, lung cancer and interstitial lung disease. We also perform oxygen qualification tests, PFTs for patients who require testing prior to surgery, bone marrow transplants, or organ transplant, in addition to inpatients that have a need for a pulmonary function test QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience
- Minimum of two years in specialty in similar size hospital
- Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record.
License/Registration/Certification
- New York active uncumbered state license or compact license (if applicable)
- CPR (by the American Heart Association)
- BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association
Education and Training
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Respiratory Therapy. BSN preferred.
Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
