AlliedTravelCareers is working with AMN Healthcare Allied to find a qualified CT Tech in ALBANY, New York, 12208!Pay Information$2,207 to $2,419 per weekAbout The PositionJob Description & RequirementsComputed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)StartDate: ASAPAvailable Shifts: 12 N, 10 NPay Rate: $2207.44 - $2418.79CT Tech needed asapFull Time Night Shift (Four 10's or Three 12's)Effective 1/11/2024, local (please refer to list of ineligible counties) candidates are no longer being accepted by AMCARRT (CT) certification required upon submissionMust be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate (high school +1).Licensure, Certification & Registration:· New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in the State of New York· Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists· Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certificationExperience:· Entry Level: Limited or no experience; MIT Level assigned based on skill set and experience.Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:· Those as referenced below in greater detail.The Computed Tomography (CT scan) Technologist under the direction of the Medical Director and/or Section Head, the Clinical Specialist, the Manager, and the Radiologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of the patients in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. The Computed Tomography (CT scan) Technologist utilizes their specific modality to create diagnostic images and provide their patients with a safe and positive experience. Technologists support teaching and continue learning as the technology changes for both themselves and others. In addition to trauma and emergency room scanning, Technologists perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and those receiving intensive care), research patients and those patients requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
